Hi, I’m Jayani Jalese, a SAG-Eligible, New York–based actress dedicated to bringing truth, depth, and emotional nuance to every role I play. I’ve trained extensively in the Meisner Technique, along with a range of additional acting methods that continue to shape my work both on set and on stage.
I recently starred as a lead in the film Holding the Pieces, and you may have also seen me on Law & Order, FBI, and Manifest, as well as in national commercials, print campaigns, and other television projects. My passion lies in telling grounded, human stories and creating characters that stay with people long after the screen fades.
When I’m not filming, I’m probably sipping coffee, sketching with charcoal, painting, or dancing around my apartment with absolutely no rhythm—but full joy.
